Just a few more hoops…

Hello everyone! And I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. I did…I finished a project and it is for several challenges.

First and foremost my little creation is for Cards For Men Challenge – Good Luck ChallengeThe Stamping Boutique (I was just selected to be a part of the wonderful and talented design team)  is the sponsor for this challenge.

I chose the Circus dogs illustration because of the dachshunds. I am so in love with these little dogs (and I laughed when I pictured a weenie dog jumping through a hoop). They have such wonderful personalities, very loyal, VERY tenacious, and just a lot of fun. We have one who is now 16, Watson the Dachshund. He really was our son’s dog, but we inherited him when he went to college (our son, Wes, not Watson). Did you know that Wes wanted Watson back? I said, “No Way!”

The other challenges are:
Simply Scrapping Card Challenge for Week 4: Color challenge

Just One More Glimpse

I hope everyone has had and is having a great week! I know that I have!

I get to share or I get to brag (whatever you want to call it)…I have been selected to be on The Stamping Boutique’s Design Team! Isn’t that fantastic? I am so excited about working with this talented group. Check out the Design Team’s blogs in my sidebar and marvel at the talent that the Administrators have chosen. Boy, I would not want their job!

Also, here are some other sites that you can join, have some fun, and gain inspiration:

I wanted to share this project that I worked on with one of Tracey’s (artist and owner of The Stamping Boutique) illustrations. This particular illustration is titled “Hidden.”

As many of you know, I started practicing with Copics in January. I discovered these wonderful markers through several of my online friends. A Great Big Thank You to those friends! These Copics are to die for. At least I think so. Of course, I will never give up on watercolor. That will always be my first passion.

Anyway, let me give you the details of this project.

First, this is a digi stamp. Therefore, I have no storage problem. I get to pick my size I want to print out. It’s there any time I want it, very easy to look for. I like digi stamps almost as much as I like the rubber. Now I have something else to obsess over. You can never have enough of either one.

I have created this piece using three printouts. Two of those printouts I use for the dimension. I cut each lily and the fairy out twice. There are three layers to the finished main image. I hope that makes sense.

Here’s the list of supplies:
Shimmerz-Burgundy
Martha Stewart Punch-Leaf
Glimmer Mist-Juniper, Tuttie Fruitti
DP-Cobble Stone (Cosmo Cricket), Fantasy (Dovecraft)
