Rick St. Dennis MFA has designed some of the cutest
scarecrows for the upcoming fall season. AND, he still has them at a special BLOG price for the set of three (3) before they go to his Etsy shop.
I created a card with my favorite one, “You make me blush.”
All three are adorable, but this one touched my heart.
Of course I colored with my Copics, and added some accents
with a white gel pen. My sentiment is computer generated. I used Spellbinder’s Labels 20 on both and distressed the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. I took Labels 20 again and die cut with brown
cardstock and offset the image and sentiment.
The designer paper is from My Mind’s Eye. My flower did not
turn out the way I wanted, but it will do. It was cut with Spellbinder’s Rose Creation. I then cut the petals trying to make it look like a chrysanthemum. I
am not going to give up on that kind of petals. Added a bow, and it’s complete.
The other two I have colored with my Copics, but no projects
yet. That will happen over the next couple of weeks.
Meet “I love you dis much,” and
“It’s all about balance.”
I hope that you head over to Rick’s blog and check out what
his other Elite Design Team members have created. He has some very talented ladies. I know that
I speak for all of them…”We love Rick’s images!”
That’s it for today. I need to eat some grapes. LOL If you have any questions, just ask.
