Happy New Year everyone! I am ready for this New Year and I
hope that I can stay positive throughout this year. I have set goals for this
year. So far, and four days into the New Year, things are going pretty good!
See, positive reinforcement ;o)
It is time for Rick St. Dennis’s Newsletter Freebie contest.
We took December off, but now Rick’s team is ready to get things going. If you
receive his monthly newsletter you received this month’s free digital image,
Baby Bacchus. Bacchus is one of my favorite mythological characters. What I
like about him is his free spirit, “his wine, music, and dance frees his followers
from all self-conscious fear and care.” I gleaned that from Wikipedia, and that
was the toned-down version. LOL
You can find Baby Bacchus in Rick’s Zibbet shop. I have him
colored and ready for a project. I am thinking an art journal page or a
mixed-media canvas. Either one would be a great project for Bacchus.
Copics used:
Skin: E000, 00, 11, R02
Hair: E40, 41, 42, 43, 46
Flute, barrel, hooves:
E23, 25, 27, 31, 79
Grapes: V91, 95, 99
Leaves: G29, 40, 43, 46
Background: W0, 1,2, 3, V91
Just look at this face! Adorable!
For you that do receive Rick’s newsletter, the contest
starts today at the Sparkle & Glitter blog. Enter your little piece of art
on the page “January Freebie Challenge.” If you want to enter this challenge and you do
not receive Rick’s newsletter, take a visit to his Zibbet shop and pick up
Bacchus. This helps show you support Handmade!
I know that you don’t want to miss next month’s newsletter.
