You are Fabulous

Today I have a card created with a couple of Ellen Hutson’s clear stamps. Flowers have been my thing for a very long time and I found some “mondo” sized blooms that are created by Julie Ebersole. 

The “mondo” bloom for my project was the “Mondo Peony.” I colored one of the blooms (there are four blooms in this set) with Copics. I do apologize, I have misplaced my list of Copic markers, but I do remember that I began my coloring with the R000, and worked my way up from there. I will be doing this one again. After I finished the layout I realized that the petals did not have enough curve to them.

I used my Misti to stamp the “You Are” in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Neena white cardstock trimmed to 5” square. This 5” square was mounted on Gina K Designs 100# Tomato Soup cardstock with a ¼” boarder. I then mounted that on Gina K Designs 120# White Base Weight cardstock.

For the completion, I fussy cut the peony and attached it with foam tape for dimension. The “fabulous” die was cut three times and glued together for a layered die cut. To add some sparkle I added clear glitter pen.  The final touches were a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh sequins with a drop of Nuvo gold glitter drops in the middle of the sequins.
