I hope everyone has had and is having a great week! I know that I have!
I get to share or I get to brag (whatever you want to call it)…I have been selected to be on The Stamping Boutique’s Design Team! Isn’t that fantastic? I am so excited about working with this talented group. Check out the Design Team’s blogs in my sidebar and marvel at the talent that the Administrators have chosen. Boy, I would not want their job!

I wanted to share this project that I worked on with one of Tracey’s (artist and owner of The Stamping Boutique) illustrations. This particular illustration is titled “Hidden.”
As many of you know, I started practicing with Copics in January. I discovered these wonderful markers through several of my online friends. A Great Big Thank You to those friends! These Copics are to die for. At least I think so. Of course, I will never give up on watercolor. That will always be my first passion.
Anyway, let me give you the details of this project.
First, this is a digi stamp. Therefore, I have no storage problem. I get to pick my size I want to print out. It’s there any time I want it, very easy to look for. I like digi stamps almost as much as I like the rubber. Now I have something else to obsess over. You can never have enough of either one.
I have created this piece using three printouts. Two of those printouts I use for the dimension. I cut each lily and the fairy out twice. There are three layers to the finished main image. I hope that makes sense.
Here’s the list of supplies:
Shimmerz-Burgundy
Martha Stewart Punch-Leaf
Glimmer Mist-Juniper, Tuttie Fruitti
DP-Cobble Stone (Cosmo Cricket), Fantasy (Dovecraft)
CS-Neenah Classic 80# Solar White, SU 80# Perfect Plum
Nestabilities-Label Ten
Spica Pen-Clear
Gelly Pen-Opaque White
Distressing tool
Foam tape
Copics used:
Flowers and fairy-RV000, 91- 93- 95, 99
Wings-RV91, 95
Dress-RV95, 99
Vine-YG95, 97
Background-W2, 3, 5, 6
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate contacting me at ajsdesigns@cox.net. One of these days I will figure out how to put an email gadget in my sidebar. If anyone knows how to do this, I do take instruction very well.
Thanks for stopping by!
