Need More Inspiration for GHWI Challenge #16

It’s Thursday, which means that you have two more days to enter our Get Hippity with {ippity} Sketch Challenge #16. After saying that, I have a couple of little pieces of art created by two more members of my Get Hippity with {ippity} Design Team.

First is Beth, Mooseberry Cottage. Beth has created a CAS card that highlights the two {ippity} sets she inked up, “Fabulous Girl” and “You Deserve.” That touch of red set off the black and white color scheme.

Next is Pam, Crazy Stamper. Pam has picked the perfect {ippity} stamp set and Spring colors for her project. The set she chose is “Sweet Thoughts of Spring.”

First is Rhonda Miller. Everything about Rhonda’s project is beautiful, the papers and the combination of those two stamps. The set she created with is Fall for You.

Next is Kristy Lee. Kristy has completed two projects with the Cuppy Cakes stamp set. I think she likes it. The colors she chose to use for this card are perfect for cup cakes. I also think she is ready for St. Patty's.

More inspiration for GHWI Challenge #16

It’s almost the weekend! I think that Spring has sprung in Oklahoma, and I hope that it stays around this time.

I have two more projects to show you for GHWI Challenge #16. These little pieces of art were created by two members of my {ippity} design team.

This first spotlight is on Jen, one of our newest {ippity} DT members. She is one of our scrapbookers, but I think that she has a knack for card making too. The {ippity} stamp sets Jen used are Now and Always and Quotes a’la Happy.

The next spotlight is on Melissa. Melissa has been with me since day one, and I am so glad she is sticking around. Melissa’s project is a beautiful sympathy card (one of the hardest cards to make for anyone). The {ippity} sets she used are Now and Always (Can you tell how popular this set is?) and Flowers + Friends = Priceless.

Today I wanted to show off a couple of my Design Team Members work for GHWI’s Challenge #16. We used a sketch from Splitcoast Stampers. This is the sketch:

First DT member is Melissa. Melissa created her project using the Flowers + Friends = Priceless {ippity} set.

Second is DT member Julia. Julia used {ippity} set Because of You.

I also wanted to remind you that tomorrow, March 8, is the release for the NEW March {ippity} stamp sets. March {ippity} stamp sets are awesome. There will be five sets and they are all designed my Unity Artista Tracey Malnofski. Wait until you see them. You are all going to want every single one. I hope I get inky tonight.

GHWI Challenge #16

Are you ready for Get Hippity with {ippity} Challenge #16? This one is a sketch from SplitCoast Stampers. I want to apologize for not being able to create an original sketch from GHWI. At the end of January my OA flared its ugly head big time. I decided to take a break from creating in February. This gave my hands time to rest and for the doctors to figure out which medication I needed. Well the meds are finally working! The only time that I am really stiff is first thing in the morning. I run hot water over my hands, wrap them around a couple of cups of coffee, take my meds, get some more coffee, and by 11 a.m. I am ready to go. Well, as fast as I can go. LOL! Enough about me…

I must say I enjoyed working with this sketch. Remember if you join us for Challenge #16, you can also post it in your gallery at SplitCoast Stampers. Don’t forget to put the “SC349” in your keywords. We want to see whatever your heart desires to create, but we must be able to see the sketch in your project. Please read our “Challenge Rules” before entering any of our GHWI challenges. If you don’t follow, you could be disqualified. We don’t like disqualifications.

The {ippity} stamp set I used for my project is “thankful for YOU.”

I decided to get back to where I started with rubber stamping. Heat embossing was my first love in the stamping world. I used SU’s Whisper White Crafter’s ink and Stamp Zia’s white embossing powder. My die cuts are Spellbinder’s classic circles and Memory Box’s Amira Flourish. You can see that I also embossed the die cut flourish.. The ribbon and bling is from by stash. The DP is Lilybee Designs This and That collection. My cardstock is all from, where else, SU.
